1.4 Drive in rack + forklift storage
Drive in rack + forklift storage means that the rack adopts drive in rack, the goods are stacked on the pallet, and then the pallet is placed on the drive in rack by forklift.
Features: Suitable for application with less SKUs;
The space utilization ratio of the site is higher than that of the storage mode of the pallet rack + forklift.
The cost of equipment is relatively low (only forklift, rack, no need for automation and other hardware equipment);
Forklift operation is more difficult than ordinary forklift, safety needs attention.
1.5 Shuttle rack + forklift storage
Shuttle rack + forklift storage mode uses shuttle rack + shuttle car + forklift combination mode to achieve intensive storage. In this way, the goods are stacked on pallets, and then the pallets are placed on the aisle by forklift trucks. The shuttle car placed on the guide rail of the racks in advance are automatically transported and placed on the racks.
Features: Suitable for application with less SKUs;
The space utilization ratio of the site is higher than that of the storage mode of the pallet rack + forklift.
The degree of automation is higher than that of VNA rack and drive in rack.
Equipment cost is relatively moderate (only forklift, shuttle car, rack);
The operation difficulty of forklift is relatively simple in drive in rack and VNA rack.
1.6 ASRS storage with stacker crane
Storage mode of ASRS adopts the combination of stacker, rack and pallet conveyor to maximize the use of space in warehouse height direction and automate the upper and lower racks. In this way, the goods are stacked on pallets, and then the pallets are placed on the pallet conveyor in front of the warehouse by forklift. The pallets are transported to the palletizer by the conveyor, and the automatic storage is realized by the palletizer.
Features: The space utilization rate of the site is high (the maximum height can reach about 40m, but it should meet the fire protection standards).
The degree of automation is very high.
The cost of equipment is relatively high (stackers, racks, pallet conveyors, etc.).
