The scheme of pallet formal storage (1 of 2)

Storage can be roughly divided into two types from material form: one is pallet storage form. The other is box storage form. Following is a description of common schemes for pallet storage:
Pallet storage is suitable for the storage of large items, that is, the average storage volume of a single SKU is relatively large.
Pallet storage currently has pallet stacking storage; pallet rack + forklift storage; pallet rack + VNA forklift storage; drive in rack + forklift storage; shuttle rack + forklift storage; ASRS storage.
1.1 Pallet stacking storage
The pallet storage method is to stack the goods directly on the pallet, and then place the pallet directly on the ground. Usually for the same SKU, one or more areas will be divided for pallet close to pallet intensive storage. For some goods, the pallets can be stacked and stacked in multiple layers (such as paper industry finished product storage).
Features: Application with short turnover period (fast in and fast out) and fewer SKUs;
The cost of equipment is low (only forklift is needed; there is no need for shelf, automation equipment and other hardware);
The degree of automation is low.
The space utilization rate of the site is low (even if stacked, the height is about 5 m).
1.2 Pallet rack + forklift storage
The storage mode of pallet rack + forklift is to stack the goods on the pallet, and then use the forklift to place the pallet on the pallet rack.
Features: The space utilization ratio of site is higher than that of ground stack, and the automation level is still lower.
The cost of equipment is low (only forklift, rack, no need for automation and other hardware equipment);
The height of workshop space can be used up to 8-10m (specific on-demand design).
1.3 Pallet rack + VNA forklift storage
The storage mode of pallet rack + VNA forklift is that goods are stacked on pallets, and then pallets are placed on VNA forklift. Compared with the storage mode of pallet rack + forklift, the storage mode of pallet rack + VNA forklift is different from that of forklift with narrow aisles. The width of forklift aisle between the rack is smaller, and the utilization rate of space is greatly improved.
Features: The space utilization ratio of the site is higher than that of the storage mode of pallet rack + forklift
The cost of equipment is low (only forklift, rack, no need for automation and other hardware equipment);
Forklift operation is more difficult than ordinary forklift, safety needs attention.
